Science

Our science curriculum makes sure that there is a clear progression of knowledge and skills from early years, through key stage 1 and key stage 2.

Pupils at Rosendale will build knowledge about the natural world, they will learn about the properties of matter and materials, they will learn about forces and how they affect the world and they will apply this knowledge to explain what is occurring, predict how things will behave, and analyse causes.  They will recognise the power of rational explanation and develop a sense of excitement and curiosity about natural phenomena.
