Our English curriculum makes sure that there is a clear progression of knowledge and skills from early years, through key stage 1 and key stage 2.

Pupils at Rosendale will learn to speak, read and write fluently and with confidence. This knowledge will allow them to communicate their ideas and emotions to others as well as allowing others to communicate with them.  Through reading, in particular, pupils will develop culturally, emotionally, intellectually, socially and spiritually.
